960 Engine
My brother in Tucson acquired a pretty cherry 1993 960, with a blown engine. If anyone has a good engine and is anywhere near Tucson, please feel free to PM me. Thank you very much in advance.
I own a 1996 960 pretty cherry as well. 140k miles runs vary well. Has been sitting for about a year because of bad sway bars and or struts. Needs battery but runs and drives. I am 3rd owner. I'm located in Portland oregon.
I also own a 1995 960 as well. 155k miles runs great!. I am the 2nd owner. I live in Santa Monica, California.
I recently replaced .the front struts, installed a new battery, had the radiator flushed and put in new fluid, replaced injector rail with the upgrade type which will never ever leak, did the tune up and replaced the drive belt and the the timing belt and the Busch Oxygen sensor. The car now runs great and when I drive it on the speed bumps, I don't feel anything and passed the smog test. The paint is the original and once washed it looks like a brand new car. because it has always been kept in garage.
However, two days ago, the check engine light turned on. I got code 314 (I believe it was called Camshaft positioning sensor. I had it replaced, but that mechanic being young, does not know how to reset the check engine light and the dealers in my area do not repair Volvos below year 2000. If u know how to reset it, I appreciate your advice in advance.
I am thinking of selling it because my girl friend being in her early 70s, decided to stop driving her Honda Accord 2010 so I bought it from her.
Thanks,
Al
