Are any other model hoods compatible with the 960? I can't find a junk car to get one

 

What year do you have? If it's a 92-94 960 then a 940 hood would be the same, right?

I'm assuming that you've got a 95-97 960 which is a different profile. The only other model that would be the same as a 95-97 would be a 98 V90 which is the same car re-badged as a new model.

That's all I'm aware of. UPDATE: I see the 1990-92 740 had a facelift so that it's hood and general front end appearance are also the same as the earlier 1992-94 960.

 

No, only the 1991 940SE has the same hood as an early 960, 1992-1994. The 1988-1990 760 has a hood like the 1992-1994 960.

 

Good advise from Lev. Try searching Car-part.com for yards in your area. You can also try Craigs List for someone parting out a car too.

 

Yeah its a 93. Appreciate the help guys. A dude drunkenly jumped up and down on my hood and its all bent out of shape and the hinges are all bent up as well. Hoping its an easy enough fix
