after having my '96 960 intake gasket replaced (emissions) and shiftlock bypassed (interlock stuck) at my local independent vovo shop, i noticed the speedo quit on my way home. they said it was just "coincidence" of course. had it inspected where i work, then odo quit 2 miles later. not sure how these work - electrical or mechanical or combination? no 960 Haynes or book so i am flying blind. (my 850 speedo still works but odo has been a pill for years!)
any wiring or works near the intake or inside console where they were working? ANY ideas of where to start would be helpful!
