960 Sunroof Wind Deflector Removal
So I just removed the wind deflector, and the car has a much cleaner look - and a larger skylight window! (bonus!) I might sell/trade it off soon (if I don't mind the ride with it open)
Until then, I do need some advice on how to remove the weather stripping off of my roof (never removed it from a roof before...)
About half peeled off leaving residue (removed with WD-40 and a red rag) But there's more. I don't want to use brake/carb cleaner, because I don't want to paint it. Same deal with a scraper.
Am I SooL? Do I need to touch up the paint either way? In that case, is there any real downside to just using a scraper knife and getting it over with?
