Default 97 960 rear shock spring setup identification

Hi folks,
I'm trying to identify the rear shock set up on this 97 960. It’s been in my family and we are the original owners and I have not found anything in the repair records that indicates that it was converted from a Nivomat set up and it only has 30k so I’m thinking it was the original set up, pushing down on the rear end and the car bounces around a bit so the shocks need to be replaced. Anyone seen this type of set up on a 97?
Prior picture was incorrect and was of front strut, and have uploaded the correct one now
Turns out the rear shocks are and they are leaking:
SACHS BOGE
54 1700 124 371
VOLVO
9169420
6992
Made in Germany
XP

Any recommendations for replacements? Nivomat (if I can find them) or some sort of coil over?

If it helps in your search, the 9169420 is the OE number. I looked at 2 sites and the original is discontinued/ out of stock.

That's a regular gas shock. If you put nivomats on that will jack the back end of the car up. Nivomat cars use a lighter spring. (I trust the rear end of the car is not sagging)

Here's the parts page - and they appear to be out of stock everywhere - Except Voluparts.com in Atlanta 404-352-3402 They have a pair - Unfortunately they want $319 for the pair.

Thank you, yes on my initial search they did seem to be out of stock in most places.
I also ran across 271899 referenced at volvo.oempartsonline.
Also KYB GAS-A-JUST KG5565 on Amazon and a comment on reviews but did not confirm vehicle :
"The thing actually fit after drilling out the bottom attachment point"
Another reviewer said it did not fit their 960 sedan:
"Doesn't fit my 1994 volvo 960 sedan as bottom hole is 12 mm not 14 mm as required"
So I am wondering if opening the bottom attachment point would work.
I still have to compare if the other specs will work.
