AC stops blowing when you press the gas...
I have a 94 Volvo 960 and understand it's a common problem to have with the AC dropping out when you press the gas. I have the part (looks like an oil filter) from the dealership, but don't know where it goes (think it's in the dash).
Any suggestions.
Thanks

They are in the dash but you don't need to remove the dash to replace they are just a pain to replace.
One is on the passenger side remove the lower dash cover. Then look for a oval cover close to the firewall. That is where the door for the recirc is.Try replacing that one first adn see if it fixes it.

My 93 960 also has the same problem, drives me nuts. How much would it cost to replace the diaphragm(s)? I'm not going to fix it since I'm not keeping the car, but am just wondering.
