Default Advice on rear bumper wing repair

Hi folks - I have a friend with a 95 960 sedan who got tagged on the corner of the back bumper. Cover itself looks OK, but it sheared off all 5 or so plastic pins that, I believe, hold the bumper cover to the metal plate that bolts to the car.

I have a picture, but it's not hosted anywhere to link to yet.

Any ideas short of replacing the whole bumper cover? The paint is pretty faded, so it would be had to match it well.

If it were mine, I'd probably put a stainless steel sheet metal screw & washer through from the outside, but I don't think she'll go for that.

Thanks

My local auto paint supply store carries a large array of moulding/ trim pins and hardware. You might try one of these places.
