Brakes lights aren't working, but the running lights, the blinker, and everything else seems to be doing just fine. I've checked all the fuses, they were hot, and I checked the bulbs. It seems like the lights have power going to them, but I'm stumped. Finally, I knocked the panel out from under the steering column for the brake light switch, and while it's possible that might be the problem, I just don't see it. The thing completes a circuit, that's all it seems to be do, and as far as that goes, there doesn't look to be anything wrong with it.

So I guess I'm just looking for a second opinion before I go spend 40 bucks on a new ones. So thanks.

dont trust the bulbs...replace them and see..prolly the cheapest thing you can do initially...my bulbs seem to go out frequently...right now I have a brake light out on the right rear...but it only goes out when the headlamps and taillamps are lit...when they're off it works but i notice its a little dim...
