Engine replacement for 95 Volvo 960

Can an engine from 1998 Volvo S90 be used to replace one in 1995 Volvo 960?

I recently installed a 1998 S90 motor into a 1997 960. The engine swap was a piece of cake, however there was some issues with the ignition to starter wiring that is very difficult to figure out. Some additional wiring will be needed to get it started.

Other than, my install was straightforward and easy.
