1996 960 Has anyone tried to replace the heater recirculation bellows? It's down right at the firewall facing the firewall. Can it be done with out removing the heater?

I know its been a while but I am still interested in this one... I currently have it propped open with a piece of banding strap..

Thanks for the reply Henry. The information you've provided is really appreciated, but it doesn't cover the recirculation bellows. THis is the one located up against the firewall on the far passenger side behind the blower motor on left hand drive cars..
