headlight wiper question
Hi-
Just replaced one of my headlight wiper motors, and I can't get the wiper arm lined up where it's supposed to be. Whenever I pull the mist lever, the wiper wants to go down toward the bumper and stay there. So, I moved the arm further over on the stud, and still doesn't want to work. Shouldn't the arm be on the outside of the light away from the grille at rest? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks-
Brady

Take the wiper arm off or at least pull it out away from the head light. Run the windshield washer cleaner. Once everything stops, take the wiper arm loose and align it so that it points away from the grill. That is where it should be parked. If you run it and it goes in the wrong directions or something, you probably installed a left motor in a right position or something like that. They are not the same, there is a right and a left.
