Question help-front seat adj. not working

I asked this before and no one seemed to know the answer but the problem still exists. The driver's seat when trying to go forward or backwards only moves on the left side canting the seat. The right side seems to be stuck or the cable is not turning the gear. HELP

Usually the cables stretch and the center part pulls out of the motor.
I heat up the metal sleeve and push the outer part in more and that usually fixes it for a while.

Default Getting the 960 power seat to move on both sides of the seat...

I have had this problem with both of my 960's.
  1. Try to center the seat, allowing the side that does move to get in the middle of the movement.
  2. Then raise the seat has high as it will go to make clearance for your hand to go under there and push on the cables.
  3. On the side that does not move, try pushing in on the cables 1 by 1 until you find the one that is not working.
  4. I used a piece of speed tape to keep pressure on the cable so it will work from now on. But I have learned (from an 850 seat back recliner post) that you can get a small butane torch and heat the end of the cable and push it in a little. This will re-engage the cable in the transmission to allow it to work properly.
That is what Tech is referring to above.
