Hi i have a 95 960 and can anybody tell me how to remove the brake light switch.

 

Is the old one bad?
If so you pretty much just yank and pull on it to remove it.
You usually have to break them to get them out.
Don't confuse the cruise switch for the brake light switch.

 

Yeah i already figured out the cruise control switch cause i saw the vacum line but im just having trouble trying to figure how to get it out.

OK so you break the switch.But how do put it back in?Its definatly the switch cause when i push the pedal down i will then shake the switch.and i can see when its dark outside if it comes on cause u can see the reflection it makes.Thank you guys.

 

Replace with a new switch.
The new one will just push in and lock.
Then you need to adjust. Press the pedal down then press the switch in as far as you can.
Then let the pedal go and you should hear a click when it adjusts.
