The gas gauge on the car doesn't work and it is burning oil and leaking antifreeze pretty rapidly. Passenger side front window doesn't roll down and it has a few dents in the car and a cracked passenger sidelight. How much do you think I could trade it in to a dealer for?

In a trade-in situation a dealer can give you a figure which could be completely unrealistic and then make it up on the selling end. So it doesn't matter. The question is how much is your car worth... Break up value is around $450, so that's a minimum, then depending on the problems, up from there. A 960 is not a loved car anywhere... It's a great car if well maintained, otherwise, as you have found out, a lot of trouble.

My guess is that they will offer you around $700 just to sell you something else.
