I'm new to these forums so I hope this is the right section. When I start the car, sometimes the car rocks during Idle and then I press on the gas to give it power and it stops (until later during my drive) It's strange because it does not do this all the time so its really hard for me to gauge when its going to do it. I have yet to take it to a mechanic because I have the manual and like to try to figure things out on my own but so far, this is beating me. Any help/tips would be appreciated because I don't know where to start.

Some owners have swapped the engine. So first you have to tell, what engine you have.
Still the V6?
Which year: B27, B28?
Carburettor? Injection?

That would help to find an answer

I believe its still all original. So V6 engine, B27 and fuel injection. After doing some research, I think my catalytic converter is clogged. Going to take it into a mechanic to find out for sure.
