Default ignition coils

On my 96 960 ive replaced 3 of the 6 ignition coils within a year, i replaced them with Volvo ignition coils. Ive heard that these ignition coils are junk. But i couldnt find any universal Bosch or something similar. Could there be another cause for this other than bad/junk ignition coils, or due to the age of the car is this normal???At $80 bucks a pop it could get expensive replacing them often. Anyone else have this problem?

Default RE: ignition coils

It is normal due to engine heat. The coils are mounted in the middle of the motor by all the main motor heat.
