Default Just got my Heritage Club 200k sticker

My 97 V90 finally got past the 200,000 mark. I got on the Volvo USA website and entered the information for the 200k emblem. It showed up in a nice cardboard sleeve, via UPS, within about 10 days. It's a shame they don't use the old grille emblems, but the adhesive-backed aluminum emblem is pretty snazzy, and looks good on my tailgate.

Now, if I can get the C70 to run reliably, maybe I can get it over 200k also.

There is a way to get this badge? I hit 200k with my 96 960 a few months ago. Didn't know about this and congrats!

In the US at least, just get on the Volvo USA website and look for the Heritage Club. They are also selling the old High Mileage Club badges for $16 as a close-out...when they're gone, they're gone.

In our throw-away, lease it for 3 years and get rid of it, society, I take pride in driving high mileage cars that I can actually see out of it, with low belt lines and high seating position.

They seem to be pushing the idea of loyalty and buying Volvos repeatedly, not just keeping one and driving it to hell and back, so they also have 10 year badges, 15 year, etc...per their website, some folks either don't drive much, or keep buying new Volvo cars and they wanted to award them too...my 10 year badge came in the same envelope...i stuck that one on the back of my C70.

That would irritate me to no end...to get that close to a high mileage threshold and just miss it.

I lost a BMW 528e with 299xxx miles on it...I had just picked up brake rotors and pads and was headed home...some nitwit pulled out of a parking lot and smacked it in the right front, and killed the poor thing. I really think that car could have gone 400K with no difficulty, until its untimely end.
