I replaced the engine wiring harness on my 1987 760 turbo this winter and in the process i broke the temp sending unit for the fuel injection. I drove the car for a few weeks while i waited on a part to come. Wrong one came, exchanged it for the right one, took another couple of weeks. Drove the vehicle for total of about 6 weeks without the temp sender for the fuel injection hooked up. Car drove fine except it would not start till the motor cooled down. Summer is here i put the right sending unit in so i could start it warm but now the idle seems low. Almost stalling but not, just slow idle. Should I follow procedure to increase the idle or should i be looking for something else? Love the forum.
