Greetings,
I've got a 96 960. There are some minor electrical gremlins (seat memory, dash lights. etc.) but the big one right now is that the front markers and tail lights stay on with the light switch off. The door chime also stays on with the key OUT. I can resolve the light problem by taking out fuses but that is a nuisance. I suspect the ignition switch but someone suggested I've probably got a short in the wiring harness.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Check the ignition switch and parking light bulbs up front.

 

Double check your fuses too, I found when I blew the fuse for some interior lighting, the warning chime made noise whenever the glovebox door opened.
