Default necessary parts for timing belt change

Hi, there:
My 1997 Volvo 960 is due for a timing belt change. Besides the timing belt, what are the othertwo bearings that need to be changed? Are they tension bearing or idle bearing? Also,I find there is some machine oil leakage in the bearings. Is it necessary to change the seals in the front side of engine?

Thanks
Robert

There should only be the tennsioner tou need to change but is always worth changing the front oil sels while you are it and everything is accesable. I just did mine and changer the crankshaft seal as well as the Aux. shaft seal ! If you are losing oil behind the front timing cover anywhere you should reall change all the oil seals !
This will save you a big headache in the end and its only another $25.00 in parts !

Hi, rmcmighty:
Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I want tochange the three seals. But the mechanics asked for $49 more. Do you order the seals online or just buy from the mechanics?

Thanks
Robert
