New 1991 Volvo Bertone -- help?
Hi guys. I just picked up a '91 Volvo Bertone yesterday w/ 118k on it.
Basically, it needs:
replace a/c condenser
sagging headliner repair
radio code
timing belt change
accessory belt change
tune-up
to make it perfect. Could anyone point out the simplest way to attack each of these matters? I have placed them in order of priority and ease/accessibility to me in terms of my comfort on working on them. thanks for any advice.

What engine does it have? the turbo or the 6 cylinder,, I would start with the timing belt and accessory belt then the tune up. everything is easy if u know ur way around cars it will save you a couple of bucks.
I believe the '91 are all 230T, 4cyl turbo....
A/C condenser? Are you sure that's why the air is inop? I'd confirm before throwing parts.
Headliner-you COULD do it yourself but it requires more than a beginner's skill level; if you do, make sure you use 1/8 inch thick material, NOT 1/4! Tell that to the shop if you don't do it... Cost at a shop can be $150 on up depending.
call the volvo dealer for the radio code, if the radio came in this car, it should be coded to the VIN#. If not, pull the radio out and get the serial # off the back, the dealer will need that. There should be no charge for that.
Belt changes are simple as is the tune up... Simple DIY, unless some Volvo "expert" rips you off...
