I'm currently negotiating the price on a 88' 760 turbo, And i figured i would get some general tips and information on this car first, I definatley want it i almost immediately fell in love with this car the first time i drove it, I know of some of the general problems and solutions to things like the battery pull this one has (Thanks to the Almighty google machine). But what i would like to know is some of the things i should be doing and checking for regularly For maintaining this car, I intend to get an aftermarket stereo system put in, Though i do have the basic tools and skills necessary for that I'm wondering what specific brands i should get as per the Amp, and other type of things, where to get these and other resources that might prove helpful, Or should i just get someone to professionally install them..though to be honest from what I've gathered its possible for a not volvo specific mechanic to do it slightly wrong on some things or not notice certain problems that Volvo enthusiasts might notice. Well I out this to you Forum members as a Hopefully new owner in need of some advice.
