Default New old '88 760 Turbo

Hello everyone,

I just bought a 760 turbo. What a fun car! I will post pictures later, after I give it a good wash.

Right now, I'm giving it a tune up; oil change, tranny oil change, spark plug, etc.

I want to upgrade the fuel injectors but I don't know which ones to get, any ideas?

What's wrong with the injectors you have?

new injectors, @ lev; slight engine stumble at idle, i thought it was clogged injectors.

Very little chance stumble caused by injectors... Do a good "tune up" first. New injectors are hugely costly.

Cleaning the throttle body is a cheap diy maintenance item that can have a big impact if it is nasty enough.

I cleaned the TB and ICV, that helped alot. But there's still a slight hesitation at idle. I think it's because of a clogged cat. Also, I'm only boosting at 5 psi. I turned in the boost controller all the way in and even turned in the wastegate arm 2 turns, still 5 psi of boost. No boost leaks. Vacuum lines and hoses were checked and replaced.

No play in the turbo (Garret T3). I unplugged the bung before the cat and I think there was an improvement of 1/2 or 1 psi. I'm suspecting a clogged cat.

Anybody have this problem before? Low boost? How did you fix it?
