For my daughter......It has 141k on it body and interior rival a new car..VERY good in and out. Carfax shows 0 wrecks No paint lines on the body anywhere I can find.

Serviced fairly well. although it needs a TB. Is there a thread anywhere that shows this being done? I have lots of experience doing my 928s TB and WP so im not afraid of a little work.

This car was a New York car......

Tranny shifts firm all switchs work and it appears the A/C works...kinda cold here to see if it really does work that well. The auto climate seems to work also.
BUn warmers work. etc........

I can buy at 3300.....what your opinion on that purchase price

What your opinion on this being a teenage girls first car?

 

My wife and I don't have any kids yet, but we will most definitely consider Volvo's as first cars when we have kids old enough to drive. You should look in the 850 forums and read the thread about the totaled 850. The owners daughter came out with just a little scratch on her head. You can't beat Volvos for safety.

Great choice for a first car, in my opinion.

As to the TB, I'll let TECH or others more knowlegeable handle that question.

 

Volvo's are undoubtedly one of the safest cars on the road. That's why I bought an 850 for my son. 9 series is a RWD car which will be harder to drive in ice and snow. If you are in an area that doesn't get much bad weather then that wouldn't be a problem. If you are in a northern state then you might want to take a look at the 850 and the S70 series. They are FWD cars.
