Rear shock replacement Volvo 960 sedan 1995
Dear All,
I have to replace the rear shock of my Sedan Volvo 960 from 1995.
Could you please help about the compatibility of models?
I would try to avoid if possible Nivomat.
What would then match ?
Could I buy these ones and keep all other items of rear suspension as is.

Or should I take Nivomat system?

Thanks for your help.

You will need to determine which kind of shocks are on your car. Nivomats and regular shocks are very different in appearance. The Nivomats are fatter and have visible rubber bellows.
In the US Nivomats were the only choice sent here, not sure about your country.
Why are your replacing them? A common failure of a Nivomat is the suspension sags - if that is one of your symptoms - you have nivomats. You can't put the regular shocks (non-nivomat) in - -- well you can, they will fit, but the suspension will still sag. The Spring used with a nivomat car (that transverse fiberglass leaf spring) is softer than the one used for normal shocks.
IPD is sometimes not the most economical source for Volvo parts - Although their price for the Nivos is pretty good, they are selling the factory Manufacturer, it does not have a Volvo sticker on it (and it would cost twice the price if it did) - note the normal non-niv "factory" shock they sell has a Monroe brand name on it. That's probably the OEM for Volvo for the rear shocks. So both are not "genuine Volvo", although they are the OEM manufacturere for Volvo. I've had good luck with eeuroparts.
