Nivomat on 1995 Volvo 960 base sedan?
Okay, how do I tell whether my car has Nivomat self-leveling system? Some things I've read state that Nivomat was standard in all 960 models of 1994. Other things I've read don't mention it at all. I need to buy new shocks and struts for this car, but I'm not sure what to get. There are many good products available, but they all have different versions for vehicles with or without Nivomat.
Again, my car is a 1994 Volvo 960 base sedan. I need to determine whether it has Nivomat.
Thanks.

You need to get the Part # off the old shocks and check with the dealer. They can tell you by the part # of the old ones.
Also the Nivomats are really big in diameter compaired to the normal shock.
