Removing Intake Manifold from 95 960
I’ve watched every video and read every article I can on Volvo intake manifold removal and servicing the PCV system. The problem is, none are specific to the 960.
I can’t get my intake manifold off. I’ve removed the 10mm bolts at the top and the 13mm nut at the bottom. I think what is still holding it on are the connections for the EGR valve.
What’s odd is some of things I’ve read seem to imply the EGR is easier to get to by removing the manifold! So it’s a bit of a chicken or the egg situation.
Any help greatly appreciated!
The tl;dr version is this: Does the connection to the EGR have to be disconnected in order to get the intake manifold off?
