Question Source for 760 Turbo Exhaust After the Cat Converter

I am looking for a cat back exhaust system for a 1988 760 turbo (IRS), especially the rear muffler. I have an 85 (non IRS) 740 parts car which has an OK exhaust system except for the rear muffler.

Can I use the front muffler and the pipe that goes over the axle from the non-IRS car on the IRS 760?

Where can I get either a cat back system or at least a rear muffler?

IPD only carries the non-turbo system and the local parts places aren't much help.

What are your goals for the car, exactly? Are you just trying to bring it back to stock or did you have some sort of performance goals? I ask because the stock exhaust is rather restrictive. The simplest and cheapest solution would be to just take it to a muffler shop and have them put one together for you. They use pipe benders that unfortunately crush the pipe thus reducing the exhaust flow but doesn't matter if it's nothing more than a beater. If you had performance aspirations, one of the best things to do for the turbo is go with a larger (3") pipe from turbo to tail. The downpipe from the turbo down and tucking under the firewall is the only really tricky part. Using mandrel bent piping without crushed bends provides the best flow.
