Thanks in advance for your help. I just got a 1996 960 with 87000 Miles. The car also came with 16 in snow tires that the previous owner used to have mounted on the stock 16 inch alloys in the winter. I would like to get a set of steel rims to mount the snow tires on so I don't ruin the nice ones. I contacted the dealer and was told that Volvo did not make a 16 inch steel rim for the 960 but he thinks a set of 16 inch steel rims from an S70, V70 or S80 would fit. I have searched these boards as well as some others for confirmation of this but have not been able to find a definate answer. I have found a set of 16in steel rims off a 2001 V70XC that are for sale in my area. I know the rims on my car now are 16x6.5 with I believe a 43mm offset. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I ordered the rims from the link above and they work great. So thanks for the advice. My question now is if Volvo ever made a 16in hubcap. I have only seen 15in ones. I figued if they did I could put a set on to make the plain steel rims look a little better.

As far as 16" hubcaps, there are 3 that Im aware of via my interchange manual, but theres no pics ofthem. Try these part numbers: 307603308, 306832379, and 306398694 Those are the only 16" caps I have listed as ever being made. They appear to be about $27 a piece from the dealer.
