my first 960. when I let of on the gas the engine rpm's slow to almost an idle even at hyway speeds, is this normal. my chiltons manual seems to indicate this tranny has a "lock-up?" feature, what is that and does it relate to the above question. thanks

 

As long as you have no slipping while accelerating I would say that is normal.
