Just bought a low-mileage 97 V90. First Volvo, and so far love the car. But unable to set the driver's seat memory (using owner's manual procedures). The seat always returns to some pre-set position, probably set by previous owner or a default position. Any ideas?

 

This is how I do it set the seat to where you want it. Then press and hold the MEM button while holding it then press the preset you want it set to then let go of the MEM button and it should set.

 

Thanks. I blew out the MEM button, sprayed some contact cleaner, and repeated the programming, and now it works.
