Valve tap?
#22
I drained it warm, not hot (touchable temp, maybe 125F?)
I'm happy with my cooling as it is now, it never ever overheats, the level is perfect, and the color and smell are spot on (maybe it was changed 3 years ago, what do I know, right?)
As for the cat, do I have just one on this car? And how would I know if it's a cat, or just an Oxygen Sensor? Or what about EGR, do I have one? Would that cause issues? No CEL ever btw.
I got the oil *all* over me, so if there were metal shavings in it, I would have noticed - it was pretty slick, just thick. I'm estimating somewhere between (room temperature) drinkable yogurt and maple syrup. So thicker than the oil that I have in it now :-)
I'm not sure when the last time I checked my intake filter, so I'll do that tomorrow, to make sure a mouse didn't move in when I wasn't driving for a few days ;-)
