I own a Volvo 960 2.0 Turbo (Petrol) from 1993.
I needed your expertise for the following situations:
When I start the car the ABS light turns on, but after 5 minutes it goes off. I have already connected the Diagnostic Link Connector on Unit A, Position 3 but the red light does not come on. Any suggestions?
Following point 1 I tested the Diagnostic Link Connector in the remaining positions and detected a 4-3-1 error in position 5. After some research on the internet I have found that it could be EGR temp sensor faulty or missing. Can anyone confirm if this error in this position is really EGR?
A 960 with a four cyl. is a 940. I'd check the electrical system, battery, etc. Low or high voltage will trigger the ABS light.
It's a 960 with B204FT engine. You can check this website for more info about this engine Info on the B204GT/FT engine - Turbobricks Forums but these models only came for a few countries in Europe, which Portugal is included.
Thank you for your advice, I'll check my electrical system just to be sure.
