Default volvo 960 head bolts

I am replacing the cylinder head on my '93 960- 2nd time. Question- I have torqued these bolts down 3 times now, how important is it to replace these bolts and can I go for 4 times?

Conventional wisdom is to replace and always use new bolts. The Volvo green books has a length limit for head bolts and to replace once they exceed a certain length, don't have the book with me now so I cannot tell you what the limit is.

What's happened with the first head? Now this second head? Timing belt or overheat?

DanR '94 964 353,000 miles (119,000 on the new engine)
