Hi. I was renoving panels and the glove box to access the blower motor because it was making wierd noises. As I lowered the glove box, I find this round thing, with a magnetic strip around the edge, and can't figure what is does (did?) or came from. Any ideas?

yep, the 8 ohm stamp is the give away...

Well, thanks all for the responses. It does indeed look right for a spaker part. Funny I never really hought there was a sound problem, maybe because i'm always on the opposite side. I wasn't going to mess any further, once I got that blower motor taken care of, that was enopugh.
