15" steel rims on 850 AWD wagon

hello,

Did the Volvo 850 come equipped with 15" rims, and if so, would these rims fit onto a 1997 850 AWD wagon that came with 16" rims (i would adjust the tire sizing accordingly)?

I think the AWD came with 16" wheels. The FWD had 15" or 16". My sons 850 came with 15's and we switched my 16" to his car. Going down to a 15" wheel would not be a problem. If you need help on determining what size tire to use check www.tirerack.com.
