- Fuel pump itself.
- Speed Sensor.
- Idle Air Control.
- Fuel Filter (this one alone does not cause stalling that often unless it's REALLY clogged).
- Camshaft Position Sensor (CPS), but if this is faulty the engine will not start.

It could be anything, and unless I take a look there is no telling. I would clear codes and see if the same codes return.

Yeah the Fuel Filter i've already changed, so that's off my list I'll ask around and see about the fuel gauge, but not too sure on the chances of me getting one anytime real soon. I'm picking up the other relay tomorrow, so I guess I'll have to wait and see if that resolves it or not. Thanks for the info guys, and i'll be sure to see about that fuel gauge Thanks!

I went ahead and replaced the fuel pump relay about a week and a half ago, and the car has not stalled at all. We've driven it about 100 miles round trip, and even in the city with rough traffic. It seems as though that resolved the issue, and I appreciate you guys helpin me out with this . I've still got some work to do on the car, but minor stuff compared to it stalling. Thanks for the help guys!

Good to see you solved the problem. As for the strike bolt, I had the same issue. I used a dremmel tool and cut the head off. Then I used the dremmel tool and cut a slot in the remainder of the bolt. Then I used a flat head screwdriver to remove the bolt. A fifteen minute job turned into a 3 hour job. Good luck.

Hello again!

Thank you all for helping me out with the stalling issue. I'm so glad that I don't really have to worry about being stranded on the side of the road because of that issue. I have taken pictures of other items that I'm concerned about, and don't really know what some of these things are for. Any help on the pictures would be appreciated. Also, I've noticed my tranny is leaking a little bit, and it's mainly leaking up towards the front of the car, like where the hoses are entering into the radiator. Not really sure if it's leaking from the hoses themselves, or somewhere higher up. Again, any help is greatly appreciated!

Sorry, missed a couple pictures I had. I'm pretty new at attaching these pictures, but I'm trying Sorry if they're not cropped or anything.

Thanks again!

These are all things I'm not sure about what they are or what they do, but I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to be there just hanging lol.

The horn picture in previous post is basically asking if that's how it's supposed to be hooked up, because my horn still doesn't work. It's a new horn, and I've tested it on the battery and it works when connected, just not when pushing on the steering wheel heh.

The mount connected to the steering pump I just noticed the other day was snapped. The question with this is, what do I need to do in order to replace it?....it looks like the brace/mount is also attached to the belt tensioner with a bolt, so does this mean I would have to re-adjust the belt and everything after replacing it?....or is it as simple as taking off bolts and putting a new brace on?..

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!!

As to the1st & 3rdpics, I am not sure wherethey arelocated at.

As for the PWS pump bracket, if the pump has a play I would replace the bracket. You could perhaps find one at a junk yard.

As to the tranny fluid leak, it is probably leaking from the hose connections to the fluid cooler (radiator). I would clean & locate the leak, and if it is the connection I would replace the seal ring + O-ring, and maybe the metal clamp as it is known to break sometimes when you try to remove it.

BTW -

All of these items except for the power steering pump brace obviously, is located right next to the battery closer to the headlamp assembly area.

Thank you!

The 1st pic looks like a relay with its cover missing. As to the connector, I can only assume that it goes to the top of the radiator where you see other electrical relays. There are other connectors that are identical so without having an 850 at hand (which I don't because I was kicked out of the country last year for being highly-qualified rather than being illegal, which seems to attract more generosity).

If you could take some zoomed-out pics it would be helpful, but Tech may be able to spot them right away.

If I understand you, the picture you think looks like a relay is the little circuit board right?.....I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think the wiring leads back to the fog light on the drivers side. So I'm not sure if the fog lights use a relay that's just a few feet of wiring away?....

As for the plug, it's located close to the battery, and doesn't have enough play to reach the relays on the radiator shroud. I've messed with the EFI relay and the Cooling Fan Relay, and none of those plugs look similar. I did find another plug on the passenger side that looks the same, but it's got something connected to it lol.....not really sure where it leads, but there's definitely not anything on the drivers side to connect that plug to that I can see.

As I have kids, I will try to take some zoomed out pictures tomorrow when I have the chance.

Thanks for the input!

Sorry I haven't had a chance to take any pictures lately. I've been real busy with work and kids, and getting ready for a trip pretty soon.

I do have a question though. I just put in an aftermarket stereo in my 850, and for some reason, the power antenna does not go up any longer when the radio turns on. Is there some sort of antenna adapter kit or something? There is a blue wire that I connected, that on the wiring harness, stated "power antenna", and the antenna is directly plugged into the deck. Not sure what may be causing it not to come up now.....Any ideas would be appreciated !!!

Thanks!

Somehow you missed the power wire to the antenna.
The black wire that plugs into the back of the radio is only for the signal.
You need to find the power wire and connect it to the blue wire.

I went through every wire, and there isn't a single wire that I missed to connect, maybe I switched 2 of them around?.....They're all color coated correctly, as the blue "power antenna" wire from the wiring harness is connected to the blue wire coming out of the deck. The black wire from both the harness and the deck state it's for the ground. There's the red wire for 12v, and a yellow wire for "memory", and an orange wire for illumination. The rest of the wires are for the F/L, F/R, R/R, and R/L speakers.

What would I be looking for in the way of a power wire to the power antenna?

I can't find my wiring diagram disk.
When are you leaving?
I am pulling my dash tomorrow on the Yellow one to do my Evaperator. I have an aftermarket radio in there. I will try to see what the wire color is on the power antenna.
