My 850 will not idle, so I checked the code and sure enough a maf sensor code comes up.No problem I thought so I bought a new sensor but that does nothing for my car.The new sensor I bought has the same part number but is in a totally different housing.It is also not a bosch part.

Why would the housing on the same part be totally different ?
Does the part need to be Bosch ?
Could it be that it is not the maf at all that is causing the idle problem ?
