Default 1994 radiator removal

aloha,
i'm about to replace a radiator on a 1994 850 w/o turbo. does anyone know how to remove the transmissino lines going to the radiator? the new radiator doesn't have a hole that's threaded, it has a little neck that sticks out and looks like a coupling type. i'm trying to get this info before i start. any kind of info would be greatly appericated. Mahalo

They are spring clips that you need to open some to slide the lines out.
I use reverse snap ring pliers to open the clips.

just a thought. i would replace those with some vise clamps when you put it back together, or you might end up like me and have your transline blow out while you're driving down the road. (no fun)

it's a pretty easy job, only takes an hour or so
