Default 1995 Green t5r wagon anyone?

I was just wondering if anyone out there has a green t5r wagon? I purchased this on off of craigslist kc and brought it back to life. Guess they must be rare in the US I have yet to see one for sale or find one on all of the forums. Name: volvowheels008.jpg

Somebody probably bought it overseas and brought it to the US. I don't think any that color was imported to the US.

No, that car has a special order invoice from New York or New Jersey, something like that. From what I have read, there are/were 5 of them ordered for the US. That green one above was delivered with 15" wheels, no Titans. Was rough when he purchased it but he did a great job restoring it. Looks great, you can see a little more about it at SwedeSpeed.com.

Not sure why the paint shop did NOT fix the dent on top of the finder above the wheel.

I pulled the mileage from the obd port when fixed the odometer.... It was 326,526. Also I only wet sanded and buffed it out dent will be fixed when I paint the whole car.

That's not the same green as the non-R 95 wagons, is it? What's the price on it now?

Its not, my wagon is a regular non-r. The green is a blue-green but I dont know the color code. You can tell its a different shade. This is the only big picture I have (before lowered)

Boxpin: It's no secret -- I really like your wagon, probably more than any other 850 wagons I have seen (online or offline), no disrespect to others.

I'm pretty surprised that the car looks that nice and has NOT been painted. Volvo has a lot of green cars/wagons and the blue/green color as Boxpin's is. My 960 is that blue/green color and there are a lot of just straight green 850's out there.

I like the wheels on both.

Either keep it near oem or go all the way and update it with painted bumpers & handles.

BTW, can you post a good pic of that front bumper/lower end. I like that and may try to get one like it. Is it just a scoop on the bottom?

Maybe you missed the part about it being a 1995 850 T5R. But thanks for educating us on how many green Volvo 850's there are.

I think Henry made that comment was to point out that it would be hard to reconize how rare that car would be because there are so many green wagons out there. People that know what a T-5R is will quickly reconize a yellow wagon, or maybe a black one, but would probably NOT LOOK TWICE at a green wagon, to even think it is a rare car/trim/T-5R. You have a HIDDEN JEWEL.

Rspi: thanks for defending me, but I think Pantech is right -- my reading-comprehension failed me. I did indeed miss the point of the conversation which was green Rs. Although if we would ever be d!ckheads anytime people wander off, this would be a very nasty forum.... which Thank-God it is not.
