Hi all-

Yesterday I was driving my 850 5 speed. I passed some people in 3rd gear and just kept accelerating to get a speed rush (I'm sure you all know). However, during the rush I decided to shift too late. Going 95mph in 3rd gear and the engine just cuts out, then when I go to shift into 4th, the engine revs super loudly. Everything seemed fine after that until I went to turn down a different road. I shifted into neutral, took the turn, shifted into 2nd, thats when real issues started. The car all of the sudden felt like it had no power (through any gears) and it started making a lot of bad noises. First noise I noticed was a scraping, however nothing was (or is) hanging off or leaking. Next was a weird grinding noise and then finally a loud clunking/thumping. Also, the oil light just started flashing light crazy. Lastly, the car had trouble starting up, but still starts, just doesn't sound healthy. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you all-

Have you drained the oil to see what it looks like? Sound like you have thrown a rod or something.
