Also a blow off valve is pointless unless you have a manual

What you'd want to find is the "R" style exhaust manifold, part number 30637921. They are on ebay, craigslist and salvage yards. Should be under $200 and will give you less restriction and better flow.

A '95 used a conical exhaust flange on the turbo. I think the 94 and 5s are the only ones. They are the most restrictive and if you can get a "straight" or "angled" housing it would be an improvement. If you do then you need to get a matching straight or angled exhaust downpipe. They are not interchangelable. The 95's comes with a TDO4HL 15G. You could bolt on a 16 or 19 from an 850 or 70 series but you would need a different downpipe off the turbo once you change to a different turbo exhaust housing on the 15 or go to a 16 or 19 as they wouldn't come with the conical.
And there are bigger turbos you can go with as some here have. The 16 and 19 are bolt ons.

A blow off valve is just that. Your turbo spends the time compressing that air, it's been through your MAF and now you're just venting it off, it's a waste. If you spend a few thousand dollars on a much bigger turbo, full 3" stainless exhaust, ARD ECM replacement, front mounted intercooler with a true cold air intake you might need one but in most cases it's just for show, not part of the performance. I have the manifold, 19T and the exhaust.
Who are the "ppl" recommending the blow off valve ??
That would be a lot of $$$ down the road. Do some more reading on it.
Another source would be to lurk or ask on volvospeed.

Maybe a manual boost controller but until you get the better ECU you wouldn't really be able to get much more boost without hitting the limiter in the ECM.

The exhaust most guys go for is from OBX and it comes with both a straight and angled downpipe. They run around 425 on Ebay. in the lower right corner of the third picture are the two different downpipes.
