My mileage counter broke...anyway to fix this without spending alot of money and anyway to easily do this? it doesnt bother me to much to have Volvo repair it but if i could do it somewhat easily then that would be great..

 

You mean your odometer. Look in the stickies and do a search. There's a gear that needs to be replaced in the cluster, you'll find more information about it in the stickies/search.

Not the hardest job in the world. The gear looks like this and goes for 25 bucks.
