Hi...long time Volvo owner first time poster! (1988 240 Wagon 1992 940 Wagon 1996 850 Wagon)
On my 1996 850 Wagon, my front driver side door was backed into and heavily damaged, what years will fit as a replacement?

generally 94 to 97 850s are the same - not sure if the wagon was available in 93 but its body panels should be the same at least for sedans.

A good way to search for used parts is car-part.com which searches inventory for yards nationally. check it out and I'm sure you will find a black door to fit. Plan b would be to search craigslist.

 

The 98-2000 door is the same too, but decorated a lot differently, and with a different mirror.

The 850's are starting to age out of the junkyards somewhat, but you stand a pretty good chance of finding the same color.

did you check with Economy Auto Parts in Portland? they didn't list a price but you can call them at 503-282-9067

 

There are 3 pic-n-pulls in the pdx area too.

 

Hi...I did check pnp and they had a lot of colors but no black.
They have a dark blue that might be ok for a temporary filler till a black door becomes available.
