Well I am the proud (or not so proud right now) owner of an 850 T5. Picked it up and drove it home and it ran fine. I did notice that the gauge cluster was not working (turbo gauge was). That is problem no. 1. Secondly I was cleaning the car and finished with power washing the motor. After I was done I moved the car and it ran fine. A little wihle after I started the car up and it idled good the all of a sudden started to sputter and die. After some coaxing it started up and sputtered and farted and was popping out the tail pipe while it was turning over. When it did finally start it would not idle butrun finer in the higher revs. If I would let off the throttle it would sputter and die, and then have a bitch of a time to get it going again. After all this the factory alarm system started going off on its own and immobilizing the system. I am getting frustrated.

1. Why are my gauges not working at all.....fuel, temp, rpm, speedo etc
2. Why all of a sudden running like crap and not being able to start
3. Why the alarm issue
4. Why only feels like hot air coming out of tailpipe and not normal exhaust
5. Why a whole lot of smoke coming up from Turbo unit...... is it from back pressure and the oil in it and stinking like a refinery?

Please help before I cry.......and that ain't very manly.....LOL

 

Well after letting it sit I got it going. I figured it was just really really wet. Anyhow I still have the guage and alarm issue.....Need help please.
