First of all, how difficult is it to replace the gauges in my 850? Next, I have to replace my left rear caliper, and can NOT break loose the nut on the line that goes from the caliper to the junction. It is a solid metal line, not rubber. Can it be replaced with stainless steel lines? Or is this something I need to get from dealer. Because the head of the nut is getting chewed up trying to break it free.

Why do you need to replace the gauges in your 850? What are you replacing them with?

My fuel gauge does not work. I have replaced the sending unit in the tank, but nothing. figured I'd just buy the whole gauge setup and swap it out.

Are you trying to use a good pair of Visegrips on the line now?

I believe you will need to replace with a metal line.

You should be able to buy from the Auto parts store. But it will be straight and you will have to bend it.

Note:Be careful bending it and don't kink it.

What I always do is where there is a Bend and I need to bend. I bend around a socket to make sure it doesn't kink.
