20v or 10v

how do i tell the difrence between a 20v 2.5 or the 10v as mine has no badges or engine cowl over the plugs

sorry new to 850s always had 940s

Well the US never had a 10v. You could also open the oil fill cap and look at the cams. If the cams are arranged in pairs then you have 20v vs the 10v engine.
