okay guys so im in the process of completley fixing everything that goes wrong

on 850's $$$$$$. but my question is im planning on getting up to 300hp. its a

automatic so i cant go any more. im thinking ecu flash, exhaust from ipd and

type r exhaust manifold as well as sticking with my stock airbox with k&n also

tdo4 16t turbo. also blue injectors. but now im wondering if ipd ecu flash is the

best rout to go because its very exspensive. also im wondering since i live in

the great smog regulation state of california will i encounter any issues with

passing smog when i do all this. oh yeah 1995 volvo 850 turbo wagon.

 

300hp or 300whp?

ARD Tune, not IPD and way less expensive
exhaust
bigger turbo (at least an 18T)
FMIC
larger injectors (blues are pointless on a 16T, Whites will be completely fine up to 300whp)
Intake pipe
R or japanafold
EBC
Wideband
Boost gauge

300whp and what is fmic and japanafold. Im assuming some cheaply made part. What about intake Pipe can you elaborate. Also you think I will have clearance issues with the 18t and r manifold. And do you have Pic of the manifold for sale. What do you think about smog issues. I know the race cat is illegal but ooh well but with a good tune I think it will be fine.

 

FMIC= front mount intercooler
Japanafold= Japan Manifold, an oem manifold that came on a few P2 cars that is the ported version of the factory 850/x70 manifold...have one on my car
Intake pipe= Google search "snabb intake pipe"

18T is a TD04 oem turbo and the R manifold is an oem manifold, they'll fit the exact same way any oem TD04 turbo/oem manifold will fit.

Don't know anything about smog issues and California's laws, that's for you to determine. My 850 is from 1994, and if your car is 1995 and older you don't have to do emissions, my 850 doesn't have a single emissions part left on it.

And the manifold is sold pending payment, but if I don't hear back from the guy today, I will let you know.

 

Not to be rude or anything, but if you don't know what those are, I don't think making a 300whp volvo is for you, yet.
