850 GLT Clicking full lock left turn
I've got an 850 GLT Manual, and at full lock left turns there's a clicking noise from the wheel. Does anyone know what it is? I think it's probably a ball joint or tie rod, if so, could I replace it myself? What would I need?
There's also an oil leak from somewhere. How much would it be to get fixed if a seal needs to be replaced?

Yes check the CV joint boots to make sure they are not torn and thrown grease in the wheel well. If the boots are torn, you'll need to replace the CV joint. Many places replace the entire axle unit rather than replacing the joint only. And one whole axle is approx $100. If you can find an independent shop that specialises in Swedish/European makes and if they accept parts from customers, that would be the route I would take. Check out the 2 following on-line vendors:

As to oil leak, please specify where it is leaking from, or where you believe is leaking from. The engine on 850 has several leaky spots and it is hard to say what needs to be done without knowing where the leak is from.
