850 glt question
Does it not have a turbo now?
edit: No, it does not have a turbo. It would probably be cheaper and a lot easier to buy a used engine that had a turbo and do an engine swap rather than modding the engine to add a turbo. Plus the 2.4L engines are weaker than the 2.3L engines and wouldn't hold up to a turbo as well. And then you would have to buy a different ECU as well, exhaust, coolant and oil lines, intercooler, just lots of things you need to do. If you want a turbo that bad, I would buy a turbo car.

1. The answer is yes you can.
2. The real answer is sell your N/A buy a turbo model Volvo and mod it from there.
3. If you really want to turbo your car take a look at this short list which doesn't include everything you'd need.
- Turbo
- Downpipe
- Catback system
- Turbo hoses (Silicone)
- Intercooler hard pipes
- T-bolt clamps
- Vacuum lines
- Oil or water lines for the turbo
- Tapping your oil tank for the turbo
- Intercooler
- Major ECU tuning. Not like going to a tuning company and saying give me a tune. It's more like going to a custom tuner who can dyno tune to get the perfect tune to make your car run properly.
- Etc...
Done right with brand new parts and the proper tuning as said above your looking at a good $3k plus. More then your car is worth and I am guessing you'd spend a good $5k to start off with and that is just a rough estimate.
Sell your car and buy a turbo model. Much easier to do and mod from there on out. You'll be happy you did.
